Communities benefit from having an array of cultural arts and entertainment offerings within city limits allowing community members and their dollars to stay within the county. The Community Experiences Program (CXP) will provide grant dollars to qualifying projects that enhance quality of life for residents of Kosciusko County with priority given to projects that restore/inhabit unused or underutilized buildings and spaces in downtown areas. These projects will provide enhanced opportunities and a boosted sense of pride for the entire community.
Funding Purpose
CXP grants fund new community experiences in Kosciusko County, improving quality of life and supporting orthopedic industry goals. Projects that revitalize downtown areas—especially vacant and/or underused buildings—will be given priority. Qualifying projects that provide entertainment, dining, or arts/culture offerings to the community may receive up to 20% of the total startup cost from the CXP grant program.
Qualified Organizations
Eligible applicants must have both interest and financial capacity to support a new community experience in Kosciusko County. Projects described by the applicant in an initial letter of intent (LOI) must align with CXP’s funding goals. Selected candidates may be invited to submit a formal application upon request by the CXP committee.
