The attainable housing program will focus on creating market rate housing options for all interested individuals. Projects will include mix-use apartments centered around connectivity to community assets and amenities. These projects will generate community focal points for entertainment and young professional engagement. The three workforce housing projects will create approximately 225 new mix-use apartment units.
Union Station Lofts
The Union Station Lofts attainable housing project consists of 80 market-rate apartments and 4,300 square feet of mixed commercial space. This will be located where the former Gatke factory site has been demolished.
Project Update: Construction of the Union Station Lofts apartments continues to progress steadily toward its scheduled completion in June 2026. The project remains on track, with several key milestones recently achieved and others approaching in the coming months. Millworks
The Owens (Millworks) attainable housing project consists of 85 market-rate apartments and 3,000-5,0000 square foot commercial space. Amenities will include a rooftop deck for resident use and resident bike storage and dog washing facilities.
Project Update: The groundbreaking took place on September 23, 2025 and the developers announced completion within one year of that event.
Buffalo Street Apartments
The Buffalo Street (The Gardens) attainable housing project consists of 60 market-rate apartments and 3,000-5,000 square feet of commercial space.
